Emerald
Isle is a small farm located in the western part of Georgia near the town
of Winston. Our family has been involved with horses for most of
our lives with emphasis the last 15 years in the Arabian breed. In
2002, we discovered Miniature Horses and it was love at first site.
We began our search for the highest quality breeding and show quality pedigrees
available and in doing so discovered Woodstock North Miniatures located
in Minnesota, owned by Nancy and Mike Houghton. From that point on
Mike and Nancy have mentored our every step. We
are privileged to own some of the premier bloodlines of the breed such
as Dakota Lille Guten, Winks Jangles bloodlines, Wittmaacks Mickey Mouse,
Gold Melody Boy, Komoko bloodlines, Iowa Little Kernel and the Appy bloodline
that includes Starlites Chief, Starlites Calico Kid and Starlite Hershey
Bar.
Our
mission is to produce miniature horses with exceptional confirmation, motion
and temperament with that Arabian typiness and with our selection of exceptional
brood mares and stallions we believe we are on the right path.
